Fundraising brings Friends of Renal Care Glan Clwyd together. It is through fundraising that we help the hospital’s unit carry out its wonderful work. We hold social events and talent evenings, sell cakes, book, stamps and other goods through regular monthly stalls within the hospital, and take part in sponsored walks and fun runs.
Thanks to money raised, The Friends has:
Funded vital equipment for the Renal Ward and the Renal and Diabetes Unit at Glan Clwyd
Funded activities patients can undertake while on dialysis, such as art classes, beauty therapy and computer lessons
Organised a number of charity and fundraising events, including social and entertainment evenings
Helped provide patient-to-patient support
