Who we are

Our aim is to offer support to all renal patients and their families and friends. They are our members, and it is thanks to both the NHS and our members’ work that the Renal & Diabetes Unit at Glan Clwyd Hospital is able to offer such excellent care, treatment and support.

FORC help to provide finance over and above that provided by the NHS for equipment and care related support. They achieve this by fundraising and giving up some of their time to run events. Members make new friends, take comfort from others, and feel a great sense of achievement by actively helping the unit to treat them and others.

All patients and their families automatically become members of FORC, and can benefit from its activity. Any member of the pubic is invited to help raise funds for the unit. If you have an idea for fundraising, get in touch to tell us about it, contact us by any of the means identified above!
