Friends of Renal Care Glan Clwyd was formed in 2004 following the disbanding of the unit’s former patient support group. This coincided with the grand opening of the state-of-the-art Renal and Diabetes Unit we see today.
Chair Jean Evans MBE, together with Don and Sharon Webster took up the challenge with great energy, enthusiasm and foresight and helped form FORC. Patients, family and friends continue to benefit from their tireless work and commitment to the cause.
2014 marks the 10th anniversary of FORC and a special anniversary celebration event was held in nearby Bodelwyddan Castle to mark the occasion.
